At PLP Battery Supply, we like to keep things simple, so here’s the scoop on shipping:
When WE buy stuff, we really like simple, easy-to-understand shipping policies - and we LOVE Free Shipping. We know that you do, too. So, we try to offer fair and simple shipping based on your delivery address - whether you're in the US lower 48, Alaska, Hawaii, a US Territory, or one of our international neighbors. Here's the breakdown:
Flat-Rate Standard Shipping to any address in the lower 48 United States:
We offer flat-rate shipping charges based on order total, not including sales tax. For orders less than $75, we offer tiered shipping charges based on order total:
For orders totaling up to $9.99, Standard Shipping is $4.95.
This is typically via USPS parcel service,
For orders totaling from $10.00 to $49.99, Standard Shipping is $7.95.
This is typically USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
For orders from $50.00 to $74.99, Standard Shipping is $12.95.
This is typically UPS or FedEx ground.
In addition to these flat rates, we offer expedited shipping and other carrier-calculated shipping options at checkout. In some instances, these rates may offer a cost savings or allow you to pick the carrier of your preference. You are welcome to choose one of these options.
For orders of $75 or more to addresses in the lower 48 US states, Standard Shipping is FREE.
$75 Free Standard Shipping is for all products, no exceptions, and via our choice of shipping carrier. We hate to give blatantly obvious advice, but if your order is less than $75 and otherwise qualifies for Free Standard Shipping, do yourself a favor and order enough to get it shipped for FREE.
If you prefer expedited shipping over Free Standard Shipping, Expedited Shipping services are available via UPS or FedEx at carrier-calculated rates. Please note that lithium batteries and products that contain lithium batteries are not eligible for expedited shipping.
Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories
Shipping charges to Alaska, Hawaii and US territories are at carrier-calculated rates that are available at checkout to help you make an informed decision.
NOTE: We DO NOT ship lithium batteries or products containing lithium batteries to Alaska, Hawaii or US territories.
International Addresses
We ship to international destinations. International shipping charges are at carrier-calculated rates and are available at checkout to help you make an informed decision.
NOTE: We DO NOT ship lithium batteries or products containing lithium batteries to international destinations.
NOTE on CUSTOMS FEES and IMPORT DUTIES: When shipping outside of the U.S.A., Customs Fees and Duties may be assessed by the DESTINATION country. PLPBattery.com has no advance knowledge of these additional charges and CANNOT include them in your shipping charges at checkout. If the order arrives and you are notified of additional Customs or Import charges, THESE CHARGES ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILTY. We suggest that you investigate the possibility of your country assessing such Import charges before placing an order for delivery from the U.S.A.
Shipping to Canada
For our customers in Canada - if you select the Postal Service as your delivery method, we take advantage of a USD $9.95 flat fee option that prepays all customs duties/taxes on orders under 4 lbs. Orders over 4 lbs are subject to Canadian Customs Duties/Taxes. This program helps you avoid any unexpected expense associated with your order. This fee is automatically included in the shipping charge you see at checkout.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO ORDERS SHIPPED VIA UPS, SO ORDERS SHIPPED VIA UPS ARE SUBJECT TO CANADIAN CUSTOMS DUTIES/TAXES.
Sales Tax
At this time, we only collect sales tax on shipments to addresses within Illinois, USA.
Returns and Refunds
We want you to be happy with the products you purchase from PLP Battery Supply, so if you need to return an item for any reason, we will be happy to accept a return. You may return your purchase within 60 days of your original order. Items being returned must be in their original condition. That means new - not used, and not damaged. Please note that we DO NOT refund shipping charges.

Frequently Asked Questions about Shipping
Can I see the shipping cost before placing my order?
Yes. Place your order items in the cart, proceed to checkout and enter your address information. Before finalizing your purchase, you will be able to see all shipping options, costs, and usually the estimated delivery dates. If you feel the shipping charges are too much, you are free to abandon the order without completing the purchase.
Where do you ship from?
We ship all in-stock products from our warehouse in Murphysboro, Illinois, USA.
What are "Special Order" products?
These are products that we do not normally keep in stock. This is why we warn of a possible delay in receiving your order. When you order one of these products, it may be faster for us to direct the manufacturer drop-ship the item(s) directly to you. In this case, we will contact you after receiving your order to notify you of the shipment type and estimated delivery time.
How fast will my order be shipped?
Orders for in-stock products that are received M-F before noon Central Time will usually ship the same day. Later orders will ship the following day. Orders received Saturday or Sunday will ship on Monday. We close on most holidays, and ship on the next available business day. What shipping methods do you use?
Most products typically ship via UPS or FedEx. We ship smaller items via the US Postal Service. ALL orders have shipment tracking numbers.
Will I get shipping notifications?
Yes, IF you enter a valid email address when you place your order. You will be notified that your order has been shipped, tracking number data, any significant issues with the shipment, and when your order is delivered.
